Superhero movies rock these days and so do their toy counterparts.
Growing up in the 1980s most superhero toys either looked like Ken dolls or like this.
My kids, however, gets to play with these.
Who do you think had it better? Sound off in the comments below.

As Neil Gaiman said, “I believe candy really did taste better when I was a kid.” And I think you both had it better. Toys are the coolest thing in the world when you’re a kid and it’s impossible to compare nostalgia to present childhood.
But as far as movies goes, effects-wise they’re better now.
Candy may have tasted better, but chocolate did not. Well, it tasted fine enough for me at the time, but now I know what real chocolate is supposed to taste like.
To the point, however, yes, I was perfectly happy with the toys I had growing up (that’s an understatement!). What I was getting at was that if you compare yesterday’s toys with today’s yesterday’s lot looks pretty cheesy by comparison.
I think looks wise toys now a day look cool. But toys in general have always been fun.
It’s always been about imaginative play anyways. Kids can have more fun with sticks and balls or with the box that the toys come in than with the actual toys.
